We are doing 2 pinches for each cat per feeding wet food, this is up to 4-5 a day for the kitten. The kitten age 4 months since we got her had very smelly poop, and soft or runny poop patties, which where so messy due to her very long fur,or stepping in it while buring it. Wow, she was so gassy too! I know she was not feeling good having gas pressure. Now she has trans formed! Recently the kitten started wanting her EVO dry only which is still grain free so I had to sprinkle water on the dry food in order for this powder to stick to it it seems to be working well she still getting it in her diet each feeding. Whether it's wet or dryWithin 2-3 days her stools where solid, wet but solid, still smelled then too, but progress! Slowly now 2 weeks later she has maybe 1-2 gassy issues a day, but the best news is her stool is firm and leaves no leg fur skid marks! No more tackle and washing her legs or feet. We are so happy! No more litter box guarding to move her before she steps in the poop patty, she has normal sandbox habits!Now the smell is down 80% too! So THANK YOU THANK YOU! Keep on pushing this product. They'd literally walk away from the dry food it was sprinkled on. So, I emailed the guy who created the formula and he called me back. We had a very nice chat and he's the nicest guy. Talking with him I realized we just started feeding our cats Natural Balance Turkey and Giblets wet cat food and they were crazy for it. After putting it into that, they all eat it no problem. The formulator said he's only heard of one or two cases of cats not liking it and so was surprised at our report.We've had them on FortiFlora up until now and it's been extremely effective in giving all four cats perfect stool and ending diarrhea problems. Unfortunately, FortiFlora also uses some questionable bacteria (as the guy who developed Paw Biotics mentioned on the phone) and as we discovered earlier, they use animal digest which can come from anything including road kill and euthanized animals. That's why we sought out an alternative and were glad we found Paw Biotics.This is not quite as economical for us as the FortiFlora was (we were using one packet for four cats), and we give less than the recommended 1 scoop of Paw Biotics, as we'd be blowing through this stuff with four cats, but it still seems to be keeping all the cats healthy with "smooth moves" and no signs of their earlier digest distress. One of our cats developed an upset gut after antibiotics. I think this is the perfect supplement after a course of antibiotics. It should work perfectly and without the junk in FortiFlora by Purina.
