It attaches to the phone through a strong adhesive backing. It stays put and I love that it’s flat and not bulky. Also easy to slip my finger into it & securely hold my phone (especially when traveling). **Q: Is this safe enough for a +$1k phone?** A: I have been using this product on 2 phones for a year without issue. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying. Alcohol wipes are a good idea to remove oil. Do not try to reuse. Be sure to stick in the location for best use for your phone use habits. I wish I had placed mine closer to the bottom of the phone for easier keyboard use. **Q: Does this come with a sticker for rough cases that the strap will attach to better?
