I am not sure if you are referring to product that accidentally came into contact with cloth or was purposefully applied, but we can answer both! Because Rub 'N Buff is a wax based product it would not be recommended for use on clothing except for display. Because of the wax content, heat and moisture from your body can reactivate the pigment and cause transferring and softening. To remove Rub 'n Buff from carpeting or clothing, first scrape away any excess Rub 'n Buff from the surface. Apply dish soap at full strength by working it in with your fingers. Allow to sit for a few minutes. Then for clothes, simply wash as normal. For carpets using a clean rag and clear, warm water, begin removing the cleaner and product. Rinse frequently. You may have to repeat this procedure more than once to completely clean the area.
