You can choose to use a normal GoPro door instead of the one that comes with the case. But it will create some trouble when you want to charge your gopro. Because you need to remove the case to charge the camera. If you use the door attached to the case, you can charge it directly (you can refer to the product display picture).😊 **Q: Is the battery side door still waterproof?** A: As it's not made by GoPro I wouldn't trust it to be waterproof, even if it says it is! **Q: Can you use the gopro max lens on the gopro 10 black with this silicone cover?** A: This silicone cover is not applicable to GoPro max. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worthwhile addition to Hero10 *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 July 2022* Of course this shouldn't be necessary if gopro did a decent job of designing in usability in the first place but I thought this was a pretty comprehensive kit of improvements to the practicality of the gopro. The ability to attach a lanyard is pretty important for an action camera and this has probably already paid for itself. (I really can't believe this should be necessary to add on as an aftermarket mod!)The little door to access the USB socket is invaluable but does defeat the waterproofing, the door itself feels a bit flimsy but the basic problem is the poor original gopro design. The screen protectors were easy to fit and the case itself is a must-have.All told, I recommend this as a worthwhile set of add-ons to deal with the design shortcomings of the Hero camera. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great item. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 August 2026* Good quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a great kit, should come as standard with all GoPro! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 29 October 2024* Genuinely impressed with this kit, the screen protectors fit perfectly, the rubber case has all the “holes” in the right places, the lens cap and strap are just great ideas, but the best thing of all is the new battery door with access to the charging port. Why don’t GoPro provide that as standard? I need to test if new door is fully waterproof, but for the price this is an essential kit to protect your investment. Great value for money, and easy to fit and use, and appears to be of high quality and well made. Good stuff! ## Frequently Bought Together - FitStill Black Silicone Sleeve Case for Go Pro Hero 12/Hero 11/Hero 10/Hero 9 Black,Battery Side Cover&Screen Protectors& Lens Caps&Lanyard for Go Pro Hero 12/11/10/9 Black Accessories Kit - SanDisk 256GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - Up to 190MB/s, C10, U3, V30, 4K, 5K, A2, Micro SD Card - SDSQXAV-256G-GN6MA - FitStill 196FT/60M Waterproof Case for Go Pro Hero 13/Hero12 Black/Hero11 Black/Hero10 Black/Hero9 Black,Protective Underwater Diving Housing with Accessories for Hero13/12/11/10/9 Black Action Camera --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/353819752-fitstill-silicone-sleeve-protective-case-for-go-pro-hero-12](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/353819752-fitstill-silicone-sleeve-protective-case-for-go-pro-hero-12) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
