Lots of short paragraphs that give the basic idea, but never go enough in depth for one to leave this book and go make big actionable sales efforts. I find myself doing more research now. For example: The author will say something like, There are lots of opaque channels out there where you can discounts your rooms without the price being public so as not to start a price war. Fantastic, how about telling us some. Even just a list would be fine. Something to get us started. While he does mention a few tools and other reference books by name, for the most part the usual suspects only get mentioned, Expedia and Booking.com.
