It did not keep food hot as promised and it was damaged within a week of my purchase by my child just from carting it around, dropping her backpack etc. I'd look for something else. **Q: Is it dishwasher safe** A: It says hand wash only on the bottom.. however, I'm kind of that lazy mama...that being said, I typically put these on the top rack of the dishwasher and they've held up just fine. **Q: Is it dishwasher safe?** A: Unfortunately it's not dishwasher safe. I tried it once just to see what will happen. The inner lining got water in it did not drain, I can hear the water when I shake the container. **Q: I lost the instructions that came with the product.
