However i apparently didn't look close enough or read the description week enough because i thought the thread that is wrapped around it was actually made of the metal material that the frame itself is made of. There is just a string of what i consider to be cheap led twinkle lights wrapped inside and requires 3(i think) batteries to operate. Of course it wasn't long before those died as the battery pack was up too high for me to want to bother to get on a stool each day to turn it on and off. It's nice enough and the led lights were close enough to the softer white side vs the bright white which was what i wanted.
