After it dulled down a bit, I sent it out to be sharpened. While it was gone, I bought an upgraded Rage metal-cutting blade (with twice as many carbide teeth). That one also worked great, but after about 15 minutes of use, my saw quit working. I discovered the brushes in the motor were shot. I replaced them with the spare set that came with the saw. These were also done after another 15 minutes of use. By the time I got the brushes replaced again, the original blade was back from sharpening. I reinstalled it, and no more brush problems.I think all that extra carbide was putting a load on the saw motor it wasn't designed for. This blade is perfect for the saw; you can't improve on it.
