Review: It stops birds dropping poo all over your patio, pergola, furniture etc brilliantly - I was looking for something to scare birds (mainly pigeons and starlings) away from an outside kitchen and pergola area because they were doing their business all over the place. All the so called bird scarers that i found got appalling reviews, then I spotted this ornament and ordered it. I drilled a couple of holes in the base and screwed it high up on top of the pergola. the result is miraculous. not one poo in a couple of weeks. Literally none. this might not be its intended use but i kid you not it is working brilliantly. as an added bonus everybody that goes anywhere near it does a double take. it is very life like

I was looking for something to scare birds (mainly pigeons and starlings) away from an outside kitchen and pergola area because they were doing their business all over the place. All the so called bird scarers that i found got appalling reviews, then I spotted this ornament and ordered it. I drilled a couple of holes in the base and screwed it high up on top of the pergola. the result is miraculous. not one poo in a couple of weeks. Literally none. this might not be its intended use but i kid you not it is working brilliantly. as an added bonus everybody that goes anywhere near it does a double take. it is very life like

Nice looking, good quality, ok for size. It doesn’t keep the little birds from sitting on the wire that crosses my drive though so not solved the poop problem yet. The motor still looks like target practise.
