Are you mainly into day time photography? Are you looking for one stop shop travel lens? Answer to any of the above is yes. Go for this lens. It's great and sharp and the zoom range is great. It weighs around1.46 lbs, slightly bulky due to the range and image stabilization This is perfect if you're into day time video as it has nice image stabilization. However, if you're looking at shallow focus, you might not get it.
