## Description

Product Description Patio Paving Stain For Garden Concrete Stones & Slabs A water-based, tintable paving stain for use on industrially dyed or uncoloured patios. The stain can be easily applied using a brush, roller, or spray. The stones will not be slippery, and they will retain their characteristic appearance. Choose from 10 earthy colours The Patio Paving Stain colour palette includes 10 attractive shades to suit your personal style. If your stones are already coloured, select a similar shade for the stain. For undyed concrete grey paving stones, any shade from this colour collection can be chosen. The product is colourless, so remember to select your chosen colour before ordering. How to use Patio Paving Stain PREP 1. Clean your patio stones well, removing any dirt and moss with a wire brush. Follow with a pressure washer and the Pihan Huoltopesu cleaning agent according to instructions and leave to dry. FIRST COAT 2. Stir the stain well before use. Apply your first coat as thinly as possible with your chosen tool and let it dry thoroughly (approx. 3 hours). SECOND COAT 3. Once dry, apply the second coat. The surface is dry (walkable) after a few hours. The porosity of the surface and the number of coats used will affect the drying time.

Review: Great results! - Lovely stain, much better effect than painting slabs. It has saved me a lot of money as I was thinking of putting in a new patio but it has brought my old patio up brilliantly so don't need to now. I'm now thinking of using it on my block paved drive. I have since done part of my driveway black EK04, ordered more as it needs another coat, I will then put kiln sand in. The product is watery but its better than paint. Excellent stain but a little pricey. Edit: I have now finished my drive and it looks brand new. Neighbours have stopped me and said it looks great, asking what Ive used. Just hope it lasts a while esp with the British weather. Here is the before and after. I used EK07 and EK04.

Tikkurila products are canned in Finland and at the point of filling the volume in the can is 10% less than the unit of measure to allow for tinting of the product. In order to manufacture the required colour, we need the spare volume for the colourant addition.

The Pihan Huoltopesu is the recommended cleaner for painted and unpainted surfaces, such as fences, paving and other wood and stone structures. This product keeps surfaces in good condition by preventing micro organisms that thrive especially on dirty surfaces from adhering and growing for both timber and stone substrates.

**Q: How many slabs can you paint with 1 litre**
A: I painted 12 slabs (each 60cm x 45cm) with two coats using about 3/4 of a litre tin.

**Q: Hi, what type of brush comes with this product? Thanks**
A: No brush supplied - you just use your own ordinary paintbrush. Water based so it washes out of the brush easily. It is an excellent product - easy to use and we are really pleased with the result.

Lovely stain, much better effect than painting slabs. It has saved me a lot of money as I was thinking of putting in a new patio but it has brought my old patio up brilliantly so don't need to now.
