I received this current one recently from Cubic Fun and found it very much inferior to the former editions. The boards are thinner and not as sturdy and the images start to peal away from the boards, especially at ends that are pointed. Even more frustrating was the fact that pieces weren't lining up properly. This occurred at the early stage of my assembly and I was so disappointed when I recalled how much well-made the former kits were that I wound up throwing the whole kit in the trash.Although the former kits required patience and dexterity, as well as perseverance, the fact that they were so much sturdier and well-made, with time and careful attention one could fully assemble a nice completed showpiece.
