Review: Great antena for my Ford Explorer 2015 - Fits 2011-2015 Ford Explorer perfectly over existing antena box. Easy installation with 3M tape and great reception. Same or better than the original pigy tail antena but this one will survive the auto car wash. ## Features - [ RESTORES AM/FM RECEPTION ] Full-copper spring coil and integrated wire work as a passive replacement for a broken or missing whip antenna. No power, no wiring, no head-unit changes - steady AM/FM radio reception returns as soon as the fin is mounted. Coil and wire stay sealed inside the housing to resist oxidation. - [ FITS MOST CARS, SUVS & TRUCKS ] An industrial inner cavity accepts most factory roof antenna bases, so one fin covers a wide range of vehicles. Measure roof curvature and base diameter before ordering - a two-minute check avoids a return. Seats on flat or gently curved roof panels. - [ CAR-WASH & WEATHER SAFE ] The low aerodynamic profile clears garage doors and will not snag or snap in car-wash tunnels the way a tall whip antenna can. UV-resistant ABS keeps its finish in sun and rain, and the sealed cavity shields the copper coil from water and dust. - [ TOOL-FREE 5-MINUTE INSTALL ] A pre-cut heavy-duty acrylic adhesive pad is included - clean the roof, peel, press and hold. No drilling, no screws, no damage to factory paint if you ever remove it. Let the fin cure for 24 hours before the first car wash. - [ GLOSS GRAY PAINTED FINISH + REFLECTIVE STRIP ] The gloss gray shell replaces a plain black cap, so the roof upgrade looks like factory trim. A night-safety reflective strip is included for the fin edge: leave it off for a clean look or fit it for extra visibility. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01L93JI7W | | Antenna | Radio | | AntennaDescription | Radio | | Best Sellers Rank | #293,733 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #266 in Car Audio & Video Antennas #21,908 in Electrical | | Brand | Possbay | | Color | Gloss Gray | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 127 Reviews | | Impedance | 4 ohm | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 6.89"L x 3.7"W x 2.4"H | | Item Highlight | ABS shell with copper coil, universal fit for cars SUVs trucks, car-wash safe, UV-resistant, includes reflective strip | | Item Weight | 250 g | | Manufacturer | POSSBAY | | Maximum Range | 7 inches | | Mfr Part Number | 110111070374 | | Model Number | 110111070374 | | Number of Channels | 2 | | Number of Items | 1 | | UPC | 701622687418 | | Warranty Description | 1 Year Manufacturer | ## Product Details - **Antenna:** Radio - **Brand:** Possbay - **Color:** Gloss Gray - **Impedance:** 4 ohm - **Manufacturer:** POSSBAY - **Maximum Range:** 7 inches - **Number of Channels:** 2 - **Product Dimensions:** 6.89"L x 3.7"W x 2.4"H - **UPC:** 701622687418 ## Images ![Shark Fin Antenna Replacement, Gloss Gray, AM/FM Car Roof - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41PJB8e-zOL.jpg) ![Shark Fin Antenna Replacement, Gloss Gray, AM/FM Car Roof - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71uB25G4ahL.jpg) ![Shark Fin Antenna Replacement, Gloss Gray, AM/FM Car Roof - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61X5v2HBXLL.jpg) ![Shark Fin Antenna Replacement, Gloss Gray, AM/FM Car Roof - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51wf2Hg3ymL.jpg) ![Shark Fin Antenna Replacement, Gloss Gray, AM/FM Car Roof - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71JGLZDdJCL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bigger opening, working well so far. *by C***M on October 18, 2022* Ordered a smaller one, but did not fit over existing mounting. Easy installation with 3M tape and great reception. Same or better than the original pigy tail antena but this one will survive the auto car wash. ### ⭐ Wrong specs *by R***Z on May 10, 2026* This products says it will fit 2022 Kia Sorento and it did not. Advertise a product with the wrong specifications is a bad practice. On top of that, zero instructions on the box and the adhesive for fixing it has the worst quality ever. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/35578715-shark-fin-antenna-replacement-gloss-gray-am-fm-car-roof](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/35578715-shark-fin-antenna-replacement-gloss-gray-am-fm-car-roof) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
