The other poster is wrong in that *any* ingredient can be used together, but in this case - Yes, it is safe to use azelaic acid and retinoids at the same time. Whether your skin will tolerate it is another issue. Start off with low percentages of each active and low frequency of application before working your way up if desired. When I received it, I immediately incorporated it to my morning routine but slowly, like 2-3 times a week then after 3 weeks I started to notice a pimple that is showing and I don’t understand coz I’m only using hydrating products no any other actives.. Then only on 3 week I realized to do the patch test and it’s my mistake that I didn’t do the patch this first yea.
