I have not had any of the issues that other people reported as far as the speaker falling out of the handlebar mount and I ride my Motobecane hybrid pretty rough. The sound is excellent on the bike. I have a BOSE Soundlink that I carry around the house and it's sound is far superior, however, for a bike mounted speaker, the BKMT-2 is exceptional. I have noticed that regularly putting it in and taking it out of the bike mount kit causes paint to chip off of the device.I actually crashed (flipped my bike the other day) and my bike mount and soundmatters device survived the ordeal with flying colors.
