They don't quite measure up to my older Oneida spoons, but taking in account the price point they are worth buying. They are a little more lightweight than my other spoons, but that's not a terrible thing. They still feel comfortable in my hand. My spoons came unscratched and were shiny, right out of the package. They wash up well, either when washed by hand or in the dishwasher. In comparison to size, they are a bit larger than my older Oneida spoons (possibly to adapt to our larger appetites?). The length is 8 inches. The well itself measures 2-3/4 inches long and 1-5/8 inches wide. A rounded spoonful of sugar measures just under a tablespoon, but water measures an accurate one teaspoon (5ml). This is useful if you need to take or give some liquid medicine.
