I can even make the tea in the pitcher with boiling water. The borosilicate glass is thin yet sturdy, glass handle and all! Aso, I don't have to be concerned about micro plastics in my tea because the pitcher is quality glass not plastic! Cost is very reasonable and I like the extra long stainless spoon and cleaning brush that are included. You can pour with the lid on 2 different settings.

**Q: Dishwasher safe?**
A: Yes! But I find it's easier to just wash it with the long handle scrubber that comes with it. Love this pitcher!!

**Q: How wide is the narrowest part of the opening?  I have a large tea diffuser i need to fit inside that's 3.2 inches in diameter**
A: It will be very close the top of mine is a little over 3 inches.

**Q: Are the lids available for purchase?**
A: Comes with the lid

**Q: Is the glass to thin and easy to break?**
A: It is thin. May be not easy to break but in comparison to my other pitchers I felt like this one was very light n thin glass. I bought it just because I wanted a pitcher with a lid because I live in an apartment and we have roaches problem.

It is an attractive streamlined beverage pitcher. It is light weight so lifting it with a full 3.2 liters of ice tea is easily accomplished! I can even make the tea in the pitcher with boiling water. Wonderful, haven't had any issues. I do try to be very careful when using it because the glass feels very delicate but have had no issues
