But if you keep it from touching anything nasty, and then wash it at the same time you wash your hands with soap and water it's very quick and easy and then you can either store the nozzle in the bottle if you have to leave right away or let it dry a bit first. My gf is not a fan so I'll usually let it dry under the sink or in a cabinet sitting on a wash cloth or paper towel. If the sink is next to toilet so I can reach while sitting, I fill it after I'm finished, and then usually fill it a second time to make sure I'm all clean. If the sink is too far to reach from the toilet, I fill it before, then I have to get up to fill it again, which sucks, but whatever. The hole on the bottom isn't supposed to leak, but I do get a slow drip from mine, but the floor is water proof, so I don't really care if there are a few drops on the floor, so I don't hold my finger on it. If I cared about a drip, I'd get a paper towel or rag to set it on for it to leak onto. **Q: What kind of plastic is this made of? There should be a number or letters on the bottom.** A: You're right, there should be some numbers, a symbol, etc. but I can tell you just from having one that it's something very light and pliable, because you have to be able to squeeze it, and it has virtually no odor at, even when you put warm water in it (unlike many plastic products you buy). I definitely wouldn't recommend it to someone who's never used bidet before (and hasn't mastered the technique, so to speak). And yes, the bottle does leak on the bottom where the air release valve is - but that same valve helps you squeeze the bottle to create the water flow, and while it's probably something Brondell could fix, they likely won't be able to do that at this price range. And yes, it's a little tricky because you have to invert it to use and as soon as you do, leaky faucet alert! I don't think I've ever been able to use it without at least a few drops of water hitting where they're not supposed to. Not an issue if you're camping outdoors, but definitely something worth keeping in mind if you're using it at say, your workplace. I'm a little spoiled by the washlet I use at home having high pressure, and a hand-squeezed bottle isn't going to give you that kind of water flow. But I can't carry a washlet around with me. I CAN carry a little water bottle. This is PERFECT to use at the office because I honestly cannot stand not having a bidet anymore! And I hope at some point they'd be willing to upgrade with some sort of silicone model that you can really collapse down for travel usage. Overall, no fuss item that works as it should, despite some flaws.
