I'm been very happy with this chair **Q: Does this indeed come assembled as the description states? If so, why is there the option to pay $60 for professional assembly?** A: It comes out of the box fully assembled. I think the professional assembly is an automatic pop up for all chairs and desks. **Q: How comfortable is the seat cushion? Is it durable?** A: The seat cushion is VERY durable. I have two of these seats and one of them for > 5 years. It's indestructible. The cushions are very firm and so I wouldn't say they are especially comfortable, but I find that I tend to perch on the edge of them with my feet planted on the floor, so I am not putting my full weight on the seat.
