Except, the included lid has two gaping holes in it, making it a thoroughly impractical water container for the vast majority of people on earth day to day. Which led me to look for this lid as an alternative. I thought it'd be ideal, given that it's advertised as "closeable". It however is NOT, because when the lid is slid closed, there is STILL a hole in the lid for lord knows what reason, I guess the slight offchance of a vacuum forming is of greater concern to Hydro Flask than not spilling your drink everywhere or being able to put it in a bag or carry it anywhere. £10 for a lid that doesn't even serve the purpose of a lid? Absolute joke, I won't be buying anything from Hydro Flask in the future. Review: Doesn’t serve the purpose - This lid is worthless. I bought it to replace the original sip lid (not closing) I as got tired of toppling the tumbler over and having coffee spilled everywhere. This one has two holes, one can be closed with a slider, but a smaller one (i guess for vacuum break) still remains, rendering this lid absolutely not fit for purpose as advertised i.e. NOT leak proof. There must have been a warning about the second hole.
