I did do a little real-world experiment for you, however. With my faucet fully open, I was able to fill up a 1 pint water bottle in about 4 seconds. Since there are 8 pints in a gallon, it would take approximately 32 seconds to fill a gallon. So I would say the flow rate for these aerators is probably 2.2 gpm.
