Review: Great detail easy to use. - Love it!
Review: Very realistic excavator! - My 3-year-old son is always watching Blippi on YouTube, and he has heard the excavator song probably a thousand times. So when I saw this remote control excavator, I had to get it for him. When I opened the package, it took me a while to get it out, since there were actually small screws holding it to the inside of the box. At first I thought it only came with one battery, but one battery was already installed. It's nice that you can keep one battery charged to swap them out when the first one dies. One thing I don't like is that the battery is proprietary and comes with a special USB charger. So if you ever lose the charger it it stops working, you will have no way to charge the batteries. That is the reason I am deducting one star on my rating. But otherwise my son loves this toy, and it works very well so far. The remote control uses 2 standard AA batteries. It is very easy to move the excavator forward, backward, turn it around, and operate the bucket. With a little practice you can easily pick up objects, move them somewhere, and put them down. There is also a button on the remote that will play a few different songs if you want. I thought that was kind of strange, but my son enjoys that too. Overall this is a great toy that any toddler should enjoy.
