I use it every time I use my Neato vac. With that said, I have laminate flooring throughout my entire home. I roll up the area rugs before I let ‘her’ run, because I can only imagine that the mopping pad would get hung up. I run the vacuum over my area rugs with a stick vacuum.I wet the pad with water, then spray the pad with a little floor cleaner specific to laminate flooring. I rinse it once or twice during the process when it gets dry and pop it back on.I wash the pad in my washing machine with the rest of my cleaning rags.I have a pug who sheds like it’s his job. I was really worried that the pad would end up hairy, but it’s not! The Neato vacuums up the hair before the pad even touches it.My house is 2400 SF and I love not having to mop all that flooring. The time savings is great, but even better, I’m no longer ‘spot’ mopping. My entire house is mopped!I can’t begin to say how much time this has saved me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars This works great for hardwood floors *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2017* This works great for hardwood floors.We dampen it with floor cleaner and use magnetic strips to keep it out of carpeted areas. However my one complaint is that there is nothing to cover the Velcro on the bottom when you want to run it normally without the pad.
