Don't use the hand nets that are included. *by A***R on July 11, 2025* Catches small fish easily once you get the hang of it. I use it to collect the babies from my koi pond. If you're looking to catch fish (not crabs or shrimp), I suggest baiting the traps and waiting no more than 2-3 minutes to pull them up, otherwise the fish will find their way out again. I gave it 4 stars because the small hand nets that come with it are terrible. They constantly snag on fish fins and tails and it's a pain to get the fish unstuck.
