This product may be applied inside onto beams, girders, struts, supports, and other places where birds can sit and roost or outdoors on trees, bushes and vines. Remember, all it takes is contact to work since the non drying glue is irritating to target animals like birds. I have put it on all types of surfaces and it lasts around 3 months. Railings, top of flashings, wood rafters and it has made the pigeons leave! It is a bit sticky on the railings if you touch the surface but the birds are gone. Don't know how it work on lawns as you paint it on. It burns the birds feet so they don't want to roost where it is applied. I think (I may be wrong) that it would only last a very short time on the grass....first time you cut the lawn it would be gone. Also can't figure out the coverage...can't see painting the grass and I can't see it in a sprayer. Over to you! **Q: Does this product go on clear, or will it discolor painted services?** A: I put it on a clients house that was stained outside and it "dried" clear and did not harm the finish. The swallows have left the building *by B***Y on Reviewed in the United States on 20 July 2015* This stuff works!!! Bar none!!! I bought some netting just in case this didn't work....not needed. I just used a scrub brush and cleaned the areas that the swallows were trying to nest at, did touch up stain / paint as needed. Let that stuff dry for 2 - 3 days.....not intentionally....just got real busy with other projects. Once this stuff was applied.....the swallows came by to try building a nest again and didn't like it. The swallows have left the building! Literally.....they have left the building. I recommend this stuff to anyone with bird problems.
