Now Foods quality tests any material they receive on every Lot and every time they receive material they test for identity, purity, heavy metals, bacteria, yeast, mold and contaminates. **Q: WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF TAURINE?** A: I have been researching Taurine since my girl, Suzy, was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy just before Thanksgiving of last year. She is a Black Labrador Retriever and is currently being kept alive by Vetmedin, Enalapril, Furosemide and Taurine every 12 hours, along with Fish oil once a day. She gets frequent check ups by her Vet Cardiologist and seems to be doing so much better!
