**Q: Will it stick to silicon coated tents and is the product itself silicon based?**
A: Can't say as my awning is not silicone based.

**Q: Can this be applied by soaking fabric in a bucket**
A: I don't see why not.

**Q: I have just bought cloth trainer style bowling shoes. Would this product be suitable to make them and my bowling bag waterproof?**
A: I'de say water resistant rather than proof, it provides an invisible coating that repels water but water will eventually  soak through.

Easy to apply and seems to work well. I applied 2 coats to a jacket, but the second wasn't really required and just ran off the surface.
