These are the perfect solution. They do not stay on you definitely have to hold them up to your eye, like a monocle , but I can read the labels at the grocery now when I forget to carry glasses. The only negative is that the latch is magnetic and comes apart easily. I have already lost one pair that slipped off my neck without me even knowing it so you need to change the clasp or just tie it securely so it won't fall off. Even putting a seat belt on causes mine to come undone and slip off. They are not a full size without the arms. So, when I hold them over my eyes, they go from the center of one eye to the center of the other as opposed to the outer edges. I generally wear youth sized glasses, so my face is narrow, not wide. It makes them look as though they are for children, or costume as well.
