A: Hello, we recommend you use high-quality, alkaline batteries that specify a long life as this would allow your costume to run for up to 3 hours. Any lower quality batteries may only allow the costume to inflate for 30 minutes - 1 hour and may not produce enough energy for the fan to blow.

**Q: How does it stay inflated with your arm out?**
A: As long as you keep the zipper tight around your wrist, it seemed to stay inflated (keeping the fan on).
