The best way to provide the Vitamin K required on a consistent basis, while also maintaining a high level of meat ingredients that meet our raw nutrition philosophy, was to use Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (MSBC), the only Vitamin K3 supplement that has no objection for use in pet food by the FDA. Because the level of naturally-occurring Vitamin K varies drastically in other natural ingredients, we supplement our food with Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex to be compliance with AAFCO’s new rules and to guarantee the we are providing the correct level of Vitamin K at all times.
