However, I poked a hole in the mesh pocket lining when I reached into an upper side pocket. I wouldn't recommend rough handling of the pockets or putting keys/pointed objects in them. Aside from this, they're right for me. They'll be cool on hot summer days, and look sharp with a linen Henley shirt or tee. I have shorts with lots of pockets that are designed for carrying a lot of stuff in the pockets. These will be used for casual dress, and only my phone or wallet will be placed in the pockets. They fit perfectly, stretching comfortably around my 33-inch waist, and the size 32 is super comfortable. The crotch area is comfortable, not too tight or loose. I think they're worth the price; the quality is good, though not luxurious. I'll buy them in another color.
