Is it the flat side of the lock?** A: The "floating " roller should be facing the interior of the shade. This will move and lock the cords when you raise or lower your shades. **Q: What weight of roman shade can this lock handle?** A: Mine are very light weight probably only 5lbs or less.. **Q: How do you thread this thing?** A: I watched a utube video. It is really helpful. One of the cords goes through one since and the rest come through on the other. (I used a big n edge and tweezer to grasp the end as I fed it through) **Q: Where is the link for the instruction video. I am so frustrated** A: Go to "You Tube" and watch some videos on making Roman Blinds and that should help figure out to thread the Cord Lock. If the lock doesn't lock for you, you may attached it in the wrong direction.
