The hair was soft and easy to manage, minimal tangling and I did not cut my hands up at all. The hair packs are very full, no thinned-out ends. If you do not have intentions on hot water dipping the hair the same day as installation (if it takes a couple of days to finish your hair, like myself) then you definitely must braid down to the very end in order for it not to unravel over night. The hair does take well to being hot water dipped however it does take a little more to seal the ends than store-bought hair, you must braid all the way to the end or seal it with a rubber band. Also, the color does bleed some when dipped but it is not noticeable on the hair, the water will just turn blue. Overall, the blue ombré is nice quality hair and a great summer color, I received countless compliments on this hair. Now for the brown ombré, it is not brown which is why I gave only 3 stars for value. Color trueness is a must for me and this hair color is not as advertised. The color is sort of an auburn tone for numerous packs of hair. It is black-auburn/reddish-blonde.
