I make my own grenadine, simple syrups and store lime and grapefruit juices in these bottles (I like to make cocktails) The bottles do not fit in the dishwasher, mainly because they can't stand up. Most brushes you buy in the store are too big to fit in the opening or are too short! I tried a dishrag on a chopstick..only to get the rag stuck inside. These brushes were awesome for me!!! They got all the sugary residue and juice pulps off the sides of the bottles. I could get them inside and all the way down and they were flexible enough to handle the curvatures of the bottles.
