DID YOU BUY AFTER 2008: If you purchased your lamp after 2008 and there is an E on your tube or box, then you need the electronic ballast (this one). If you purchased your lamp before 2008, you need the older tube with a magnetic ballast (Type A).

Review: Very bright light - I bought this bulb because I mistakenly thought that the old one was burnt out. It was in fact the Ott Light itself that was not working. I ordered a new Ott Light ( desertcart sent me a refurbished Light, beware) I didn't complain because I really needed this Light and the magnifying attachment to see the lines on my HTV cutouts. The new bulb is a life saver.

**Q: does anyone know if this will fit lamp model # F83G53?**
A: I can't say for certain but it does fit the Ott Lite Craft Caddy Lamp.  Check instructions that came with your lamp as tells which type of tube to use when replacing it.  Better yet, check their web site.  Hope this helps.

**Q: Will this fit model r 313 dp?**
A: This bulb is only for Ottlite lamps manufactured AFTER 2008. You can contact our customer service dept at 800-842-8848 for expert assistance with selecting the correct replacement bulb.

**Q: Does this bulb come in higher wattage than 13w?**
A: No, they only make this bulb in 13w.

But it not advisable to buy a bulb that's improperly rated for your lamp. As this can cause lamp failure &/or Fire.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ OttLite 13W Replacement Tube Light Bulb with Electronic Ballast

My previous Ottlite bulb didn't have any of the expected part numbers printed on it, but it did have an "(E)" on it, so I guessed that meant it was the electronic ballast version. I was right, yay. The bulb arrived intact and works perfectly. Note that the bulb can be plugged into the lamp in two different orientations, and only one of those is correct. If it doesn't work the first time you try it, just flip the bulb around and try it the other way.
