They do a great job blocking the sun from blinding me while driving, and you can quickly flip them up when you drive in a tunnel. These were also very good for when I had my pupils dilated from an eye exam.The only negative is that you can see part of the clip bar and it does very slightly interfere with your field of vision when focusing on close objects. You get used to it, but also it's obnoxious at times.The black clip squeeze lever above the nose bar is very ugly.
