A: Yes ice packs are generally needed for all cool bags, otherwise the contents may only stay cool for and hour, two max. They offer some insulation from outside temperatures, but will never completely insulate against warm outside air.

I love this lunch bag, I have it for more than 1 year and I can say it is still in the same shape and colour. The size is brilliant I always carry more than I can eat in it good zip quality the design i would not say it's fashionable if that is what you are looking for but i give it 10 for the money value and what is intended to do. Lots of side pockets and a big strap that unfortunately i lost around the house :))
