The directions are not clear but anyone that is familiar with scopes will have no problem working with it. I was able to sight it in fairly well and it held that spot. The problem is that the magnification does not have a focus ability. In other words, as you zoom in for closer viewing the image goes out of focus and is not able to be corrected with this particular model. The higher the magnification the blurrier the target gets. The focus it does have is just for the cross-hairs in the scope which works well.The Electro Dot Sight that gets mounted on top of the scope works well. It is easy to adjust, turn on and off, select the color (red/green) and shape of the dot image, and the intensity of the dot image as well. At its lowest intensity the dot is a little “out of shape” and not a clear dot. This does not provide a crisp point to set on the target. The other shapes are bright, even at the lowest intensity, and would really be useful in bright lights like daylight and for close targets or moving targets but for night use they are too bright. Great feature for daylight but it would be nice if they could be dimmed a little more for lower light levels and that may also take care of the ‘shape’ of the dot in low light uses.The laser works well but is not very bright. The up side of this is that it is a little clearer than the Electro Dot Sight’s dot but may not be as visible outside in daylight. Green lasers are easier to see and seem to be brighter. It was easy to adjust and did not seem to move with use but does not have a way of locking it in place so the dot always remains the same.In summary, as I stated in the beginning, this product is a good value. All of the problems I noticed may not be found on other scopes but their price will be significantly higher. This is not a $1,000 scope. So for the basic quality and all the components like the scope, Electro Dot, and laser combination, and the features this product has makes it a good value at the price offered. I have a different brand scope at around the same price but this one from Lirisy is staying on my AR-10. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lack of specifications. *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2017* I would have given five stars if the item would have provided the type of battery needed for the laser. There is no indication of what type of battery the laser requires. The Scope mounted easily in my AR 15 (Anderson Manufacturing). I am taking it to the range today and will post results afterwards. However, I am doing so without the laser since it seems no one carries the type of battery it uses. Also, be aware this item ships from China, and it took almost a month to arrive. ### ⭐⭐⭐ This is a great scope and optic sight *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2017* This is a great scope and optic sight. My problem with this is the laser. It will not stay sighted in. After 4 or 5 shots it will move off center and that's a deal breaker for me. Have tried one other Lirisy laser and have the same outcome. If you could get the scope and the optic sight without the laser this would be a great deal.
