Standard Poodle?** A: I bought the med. for my 7 lb italian Greyhound and he fills it when he curls up. I would recommend the largest bed they make. It is a great indestructible material. The small is bigger than I thought it was to be honest. I probably could have gotten an extra small for my 11.5 lb puppy. I'm not sure if she'll continue to grow so just in case probably good I got this one since it's not a cheap bed. To be clear the pink lining is not waterproof. Only the black bottom is. I know because she peed in it. Also even thought I set my dryer to low heat per the bed's instructions, my community dryer must be broken because I think it got dried on medium/high heat and melted the fabric of the pillow inserts. No filling is leaking out however so it's fine. It is however big - real big. (Which of course the demensions should have clued me in to. I'm sure the large size would accommodate dogs to 60 pounds.) My 3 dogs (12 to 22 pounds) can all fit in at one time but I purchased it as a bed for my middle-sized dog and he loves it. He can snuggle next to the bolster or stretch out. Both the bottom and inner cushion are zippered to enable machine washing which is important. When I ordered the bed it was on sale for $42.23 plus $3.48 tax so around $45 total with free shipping.
