I have no problems using these for any of these activities. The noise cancelling is mind-blowing. These are my first pairs of ANC Headphones, and I am very impressed. It blocks out taps and clicks and outside voices are barely heard. The feature where you can put your hand over the right earcup and it brings in outside audio I super useful. When someone walks in my room to talk for a second, I can just hold my hand there for the conversation. If it is a little more than just a short convo, i usually turn on the Ambient sound mode for eaiser listening without taking the heaphones off. The build quality is also amazing. The earcup rotation is very nice for when i'm not using them and can hang them around my neck. The hardshell travel case is super, super nice. Great lows and mids. Great clarity. At first I wasn't impressed by the volume and wanted it to go higher. I finally found my fix for this by downloading a sound booster app for my phone. Seems like the issue with volume level is something to do with my phone itself and not the headphones. The are actually really comfortable. I use these for both personal use for watching movies and TV or listening to music on my phone and also for my job. I work in a call center and am on the phone 8+ hours a day. Honestly I probably have these on a good 10+ hours a day and they don't start to bother me at all. They are SUPER comfortable. The only con I found in these is that the touch pad on the right side is horrible. It never responded correctly to my swipes when I did have it activated. It's almost like I couldn't swipe directly up and down or across but I had to do it more diagonally and that would work maybe 50% of the time. Then it was super sensitive to anything else touching it. The hood of my jacket would brush it and turn the song or turn the volume way down or up. I finally had enough and turned that feature off. Now that I've done that I have to be really careful of not touching the right side because sometimes when that side is touched I hear a weird static noise and it cuts the headphones off.
