As description states, its faux leather, maybe pleather but more like a thin vinyl almost but soft. Well made for the most part. Zippers won’t last with prolonged use, there isn’t snaps for the front flaps. It is light so not a cold weather jacket which I expected. Runs small. I ordered two sizes up and it’s still a tad small. Fits good with a tee shirt under but tight with something like a flannel.
