I really didn't like scraping the original gel polish off as it felt like I was removing too much of the nail and it took forever. With the peel-off polish, you can remove all the old polish in about a minute. The peel off base and top coat is super easy to apply and works with any of your old gel nail polish colors. It doesn't last quite as long, about two weeks tops, but it is so quick to remove and reapply, it isn't a problem to redo.
