Review: Great headtorch but be careful if you use it on max brightness - This is a great headtorch with a good range of brightnesses - so you can either illuminate half the world or keep the battery going for a long time. It seems robust and doesn't have wires running from front to back, these seem to be a common source of failure on other head torches. It's probably excessive for walking your dog but great for caving / search / illuminating relatively large areas to allow multiple people to work The only issue is it gets hot on max brightness, sufficiently that it can melt synthetic materials such as the strap or clothing - definitely don't put it in a pocket when on max brightness!!

This is a great headtorch with a good range of brightnesses - so you can either illuminate half the world or keep the battery going for a long time. It seems robust and doesn't have wires running from front to back, these seem to be a common source of failure on other head torches. It's probably excessive for walking your dog but great for caving / search / illuminating relatively large areas to allow multiple people to work The only issue is it gets hot on max brightness, sufficiently that it can melt synthetic materials such as the strap or clothing - definitely don't put it in a pocket when on max brightness!!

Fantastic head torch, super bright and great adaptability. highly recommend. Used it for many fishing trips and its never felt uncomfortable, but can feel a bit heavy after a while but nothing to serious.
