## Description

The 18V LXT® Brushless 5” Dry/Wet Masonry Saw (XCC01Z) is a powerful cordless wet saw for demanding applications, such as cutting tile, masonry, concrete, and more. The motor delivers 8,800 RPM. It has a high depth of cut capacity of up to 1-9/16” at 90-degrees. The XCC01Z attaches to an optional guide rail with a guide rail adapter (both sold separately), in order to provide straight, accurate cutting. The saw includes an integrated water delivery system with water flow adjustment, which continuously feeds water for OSHA Table 1 Compliance in masonry cutting applications. For dry cutting, the saw is equipped with Auto-start Wireless System (AWS®), which utilizes Bluetooth® technology for wireless power-on/off communication between the tool and an AWS-equipped dust extractor (sold separately). It is part of Makita’s 18V LXT System. The LXT Cordless System, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries, takes a user from power tools to outdoor power equipment to get the job done. Makita 18V LXT Batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger.

Review: Excellent tool like all of my Makita items - Great saw. I use it for trimming engineered marble shower stall kits and it works great. Nice as it integrates with all of my other Makita 18 V cordless tools.
Review: Doesn’t leak at all with pipe tape!!! - This saw worked perfectly to cut 2 vessel sinks into a quartz counter top. The coolant bottle works very well and I’m impressed as to how leak free it is if you take one of the other reviewers recommendation and wrap the fitting threads with plumbers/pipe tape. It didn’t leak a drop. Also, just about everything I could find said that the included blade is not good for cutting quartz and engineered stone but it cut quartz perfectly with absolutely no chipping. I did make 2 passes though, maybe that helped. Either way, 5 stars!!

**Q: Can you put a 4 1/2 blade on there?**
A: yes I have a 5" on mine

**Q: does this have any type of breaker in it or does it just always work? ive used 120v masonry wet saws similar to this and they constantly trip**
A: This has no reset button. This is only 18v... If your cutting porcelain, I don't recommend this. Only ceramic.

**Q: How would this saw do cutting limestone tread?**
A: It will cut, but you will need a good strong battery.  The larger battery works better.

**Q: How could I attach a vacuum to the port?**
A: No... they make a different guard that has a vacuum attachment. You can buy it separately.
