I was looking for contact paper that has a wood grain look, but is smooth, without any fake "wood grain" texture. This product fit the bill. I bought this d-c fix product based on the reviews, and especially for the price. I was able to get a 2-pack for about 10% more than the cost of a single roll.When I received the product, i was initially disappointed to see that both rolls of contact paper were quite flattened, which led to the contact paper separating from the backing paper as I tried to lay the product flat. However, this product is very easy to work with, as long as you work on a small section at a time. I found it easier to concentrate on obtaining a smooth finish versus worrying about making the edge of the paper match the edge of my project (you can always trim the edge later).
