But I have never tried to wash them and store them for future use, I’d say they will become dry and probably break when inserted on a lemon. So to answer your question, no. **Q: Since these are made of cotton, is there any reason why they can't be rinsed and used again instead of throwing them away after 1 use?** A: There's so many in the bag, I don't see any reason to reuse or even If they would stay intact if they were reused..
