It offers a larger field of view in a smaller package. It has a 1.1 inch window width compared to the 510 and 512 series reflex sights with .91 width. Its less than half the weight of the 510 & 512 series and over an inch shorter in length. This means you can fit more accessories like magnifiers and iron sights on your receiver. Compared to a traditional 20mm cylindrical micro sight , it has a far superior field of view. This optic has performed flawlessly and has not failed. Shake awake still on point. I did changed the batteries at 1 years but I do that for all my RDS even if there not dead. Zero has never been off. I paired with a vortex 3x mag. If you actually use your optic, The enclosed emitter is the way to go and with the second glass doors for some added protection. This optic has been 100% since i purchased it.
