It projects the time and both inside and outside temperatures, which is really useful. The display on the clock itself has multiple brightness levels. We had to set it to minimum, as higher levels lit up the bedroom like a flashlight. At low level the screen is still visible by day, but only just. The clock displays inside and outside humidity on the screen, which is very useful. I would have given this 5 stars, but I dropped one as the outside sensor is not waterproof. It stopped working after a rainy night, although it did start again after I dried it out. I have had to relocate it to a very sheltered spot outside, where it now works well. The clock updates itself from the atomic clock in Boulder CO every now and again. You can tell when it does this as the projector switches off for a few minutes.
