**Q: How do you go about deicing the padlock during freezing temperatures?**
A: The padlock is accessible from the bottom if you want to heat it or spray an antifreeze application into it. But the moisture has stayed out of my locks since it covers the lock.

**Q: How long does the lock have to be?**
A: Do you remember the old style bicycle locks were the shank was 8 inches long or more that I can go through the spokes and the frame of the bike. That’s the kind of lock you need for this particular device.

Essential for securing job site materials. Thieves cut off a previous lock ( although the material was too heavy to move ) but with this awesome device they cannot get to the inside lock to cut it off.

I used this on a cargo container out on my property. It’s heavily constructed a does a good job hiding the lock so it’d be impossible to use a bolt cutter crowbar to break in. You’d need a torch and some time to get past this device. Anything can be broken into, but this device makes it very hard to do. I liked the first one I bought so much that I bought a second one for the other door. I also used the master lock recommended by the manufacturer.. it’s a little tricky to use this device, but I managed to figure it out in just a minute. I also like the the lock stays dry even if it pours rain. This means that the lock won’t freeze solid in the winter and will always open when needed. I am very happy with this product.

Easiest installation is to put the lock over the bar inside the Snatch box and slide box and lock together over cargo box handle and locking opening. A lock with a 2" to 3" long X minimum 1" inside width works best especially to reach the padlock with your key. If thev Snatch Latch was a little wider it would cover more of the cargo box handle to prevent it from being cut open. It works as designed ton slow thief down.
