The comforter is lightweight and the fabric doesn't feel the best but it was great for her because she has a warm room, extra blankets and only cared about the look, not the feel. If you have a kid that is sensitive to certain fabric, take this review into consideration and check out what the sheets and comforter are made of. Otherwise, if your kid loves the look they will love this and it lasts. I think we'll keep the pillow cases from the sheet set just to use with the shams because they're so cute.
